Key Responsibilities

• Patient Assessment & Diagnosis: Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients' physical abilities, limitations, and rehabilitation needs.
• Individualized Treatment Plans: Create and deliver personalized therapy programs that align with each patient's specific goals, ensuring adherence to best practice standards.
• Hands-On Therapy & Modalities: Utilize a variety of rehabilitation techniques, such as manual therapy and therapeutic exercises, to help patients regain function and reduce pain.
• Patient & Family Education: Educate patients and their families about injuries, prevention strategies, and effective techniques for home-based exercises to support recovery.
• Progress Monitoring & Documentation: Regularly evaluate and document patient progress in accordance with state regulations, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to improve outcomes.
• Collaboration & Communication: Work closely with other healthcare providers, including physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care for each patient.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In our rehabilitation facility, you will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Our diverse clientele ranges from athletes and active adults to senior patients, all requiring individualized physical therapy interventions to achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• Must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active license to practice physical therapy in the state of New Jersey.
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience in a physical therapy setting, with a strong knowledge base in orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster relationships with patients and their families, along with a proven ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Preferred Experience

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) or a Master's in Physical Therapy (MPT) is preferred but not mandatory.
• Demonstrated success in developing and implementing treatment plans for various orthopedic conditions.
• Previous experience in a fast-paced outpatient rehabilitation setting is highly beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, based on experience. In addition, our benefits package includes:
