Key Responsibilities

• Comprehensive Assessments: Conduct detailed evaluations of patients' movement patterns and therapeutic needs to develop personalized care plans that address their specific goals and challenges.
• Therapeutic Interventions: Implement evidence-based therapeutic techniques, including manual therapy and exercise prescription, to help patients improve mobility, relieve pain, and enhance functional independence.
• Patient and Family Education: Educate patients and their families on exercise regimens, self-management strategies, and lifestyle modifications that support ongoing progress and well-being beyond therapy sessions.
• Accurate Documentation: Maintain precise electronic medical records (EMR) using software such as WebPT to ensure proper documentation of assessments, treatment plans, and progress notes, thereby facilitating continuity of care.
• Continual Professional Development: Stay current with emerging practices in physical therapy through professional education, workshops, and participation in relevant training opportunities.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with diverse patient populations, including those recovering from orthopedic surgeries, chronic pain conditions, sports injuries, and neurological disorders. Your personalized approach will ensure that patients receive focused care that acknowledges their unique backgrounds, needs, and recovery objectives.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A current New Jersey State Physical Therapist License in good standing.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience; however, new graduates with a keen interest in developing their skills are welcome to apply.
• A strong foundation in manual therapy techniques and a commitment to employing a patient-centered approach in all interactions.
• Familiarity with EMR systems, particularly WebPT, is considered an asset.

Preferred Experience

While the minimum requirement is two years of clinical practice, additional experience in specialized areas of physical therapy, such as sports rehabilitation or geriatric care, is highly valued. Candidates with training in advanced therapeutic modalities will be preferred.

Compensation and Benefits
