Work Environment

This role is based onsite at our fully equipped rehabilitation center in Hackensack, NJ. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients' physical conditions, including detailed evaluations of range of motion, strength, and functional capabilities.
• Develop and implement personalized rehabilitation treatment plans aimed at improving mobility, reducing pain, and enhancing overall physical function.
• Guide and educate patients through targeted therapeutic exercises and manual therapy techniques, ensuring they understand their conditions and treatment protocols.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and nurses, to coordinate interdisciplinary care and address the holistic needs of patients.
• Participate in clinical teaching by supervising and mentoring physical therapy interns and students, providing them with valuable hands-on experiences.
• Prepare and present an annual in-service training session, contributing to the ongoing education and development of the therapy team.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient progress, treatment plans, and any modifications made throughout the rehabilitation process.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program is required.
• An active New Jersey State Physical Therapy license is mandatory to practice.
• At least 2 years of clinical experience in orthopedic physical therapy is essential.
