Gotham Enterprises Ltd is seeking a dedicated Orthopedic Outpatient Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Clifton, New Jersey. Our practice focuses on delivering exceptional physical therapy services to clients primarily covered under private medical insurance plans. We pride ourselves on a patient-centered approach and employ evidence-based practices to facilitate effective rehabilitation. Our team includes two experienced physical therapists and a dedicated physical therapy assistant (PTA), all committed to fostering a positive experience for our patients.

Work Environment

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify patient needs and establish personalized treatment goals.
• Administer physical therapy treatments, seeing 2-3 patients per hour, utilizing appropriate methodologies to enhance mobility and functional capacity.
• Design and implement customized care plans including interventions such as manual therapy, exercise prescription, and patient education.
• Track patient progress by documenting treatment sessions thoroughly in EMR systems, such as WebPT, and adjusting care plans as necessary.
• Motivate and engage patients throughout their treatment to ensure adherence to prescribed exercises and lifestyle modifications.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, consulting with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive patient care.
• Implement fitness and wellness programs that emphasize long-term health benefits tailored to patients' unique circumstances.
• Evaluate treatment effectiveness and modify plans based on observed progress and feedback from patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our facility caters primarily to an orthopedic outpatient clientele, involving patients recovering from injuries, surgeries, or conditions affecting their musculoskeletal systems. We emphasize a holistic approach to rehabilitation, focusing on reducing pain, preventing complications, and optimizing functional abilities for individuals of all ages. Qualifications

• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree from an accredited institution.
• A current New Jersey Physical Therapist License with no board or disciplinary actions.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a solid understanding of therapeutic exercise.
• Experience using electronic medical record (EMR) software, with familiarity in WebPT being a significant advantage.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Physical Therapist in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on patient motivation and education.
• A background in developing targeted wellness programs is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
