Position Overview

Human Touch Rehab Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Demarest, New Jersey. As a Physical Therapist, your primary role will be to deliver high-quality rehabilitation services within our orthopedic outpatient office. Work Environment

This full-time position is based onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in Demarest, NJ. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed evaluations of patients to accurately assess their physical capabilities and challenges, utilizing specialized orthopedic assessment tools.
• Develop and implement personalized rehabilitation programs to address each patient's unique recovery goals, ensuring measurable progress and adjustments as necessary.
• Administer treatment for a variety of conditions, focusing on musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiovascular rehabilitation, employing both manual therapy techniques and therapeutic exercises.
• Educate patients and their families about injury prevention and health maintenance strategies that support their recovery journey.
• Maintain comprehensive and accurate patient records using electronic medical record (EMR) software, specifically WebPT, ensuring compliance with best practices and healthcare regulations.
• Work in close collaboration with other healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to provide cohesive and effective patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with adult patients who are recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, or chronic conditions. Our patient population includes those with sports injuries, joint replacements, and various musculoskeletal disorders. Your expertise will help guide these individuals through their rehabilitation process, enabling them to regain strength, mobility, and confidence.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• An active New Jersey Physical Therapy license, ensuring compliance with state regulations.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a rehabilitation setting, demonstrating a strong foundation in both assessment and treatment methods.

Preferred Experience

• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and familiarity with the use of electronic medical record systems, specifically WebPT.
• A background in orthopedic rehabilitation is highly desirable, reinforcing the ability to support our specific patient population effectively.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
