Work Environment

This position is primarily onsite at our state-of-the-art Orthopedic Outpatient clinic located in Ramsey, New Jersey. Here, you will benefit from a well-equipped, welcoming space designed for patient comfort and therapeutic effectiveness. Our staffing model supports a patient flow of two patients per hour, allowing you to devote adequate time and attention to each individual. Operating hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, fostering a work-life balance that is essential in the healthcare field.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients' physical conditions to determine appropriate therapy interventions.
• Develop and implement tailored therapy plans that address specific patient recovery goals.
• Guide patients through structured exercise programs aimed at enhancing their strength, flexibility, and range of motion.
• Employ various manual therapy techniques, such as joint mobilization and soft tissue mobilization, to alleviate pain and facilitate healing.
• Accurately document patient care and progress utilizing our electronic medical records (EMR) system, ensuring compliance and optimal continuity of care.
• Maintain open lines of communication with other healthcare professionals to advocate for the best patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with outpatient individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, including post-surgical rehabilitation and chronic musculoskeletal conditions. Experience with diverse patient demographics will enhance your ability to customize treatment approaches that align with our commitment to inclusivity and individualized care.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Possession of a valid New Jersey Physical Therapist license with no restrictions.
• At least two years of professional experience in physical therapy, preferably in an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Strong expertise in manual therapy techniques and approaches.
• Proficiency in using EMR platforms, particularly WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Experience specifically in orthopedic rehabilitation is highly desirable.
• Background in patient education and community outreach initiatives.
• Previous roles demonstrating collaborative work in interdisciplinary teams.

Compensation and Benefits
