Human Touch Rehab Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our thriving Orthopedic Outpatient Office located in Waldwick, New Jersey. This full-time position involves providing exceptional hands-on therapeutic services to patients recovering from orthopedic injuries and surgeries. Work Environment

This position is onsite at our outpatient office, where collaboration and teamwork are integral. You will be part of a multidisciplinary team that includes other physical therapists, support staff, and sometimes refers to specialists in various healthcare fields. The work schedule is from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life schedule while providing consistent care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

Your role will involve several critical responsibilities, including:

• Conducting thorough evaluations to assess patients' physical capabilities and limitations.
• Developing customized care plans that address individual patient needs while considering best practices in physical therapy.
• Administering innovative treatment techniques, including but not limited to manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and patient education regarding injury prevention and recovery.
• Monitoring and documenting patients' progress using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT, to streamline patient care and ensure effective communication within the team.
• Collaboratively working with physiatrists, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to provide a holistic approach to patient recovery.
• Engaging patients in their recovery journey, empowering them through education and motivational strategies to enhance their commitment to treatment plans.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population primarily includes individuals dealing with orthopedic conditions such as post-surgical rehabilitation, musculoskeletal injuries, and chronic pain syndromes. You will work closely with patients ranging from young athletes to seniors, each requiring tailored approaches to therapy based on their specific condition, lifestyle, and recovery goals. Your expertise will be essential in helping them navigate their recovery journey toward a healthier and more active lifestyle.

Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution (Master's or Doctorate preferred).
• A current and valid Physical Therapy License in the state of New Jersey.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience as a Physical Therapist, particularly in orthopedic outpatient settings.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and experience working with EMR systems, such as WebPT.
• Strong assessment, communication, and interpersonal skills to foster effective patient interactions.

Preferred Experience

While the above qualifications are necessary, candidates with experience in a collaborative outpatient setting and familiarity with advanced rehabilitation techniques or certifications will be preferred. Demonstrated success in working collaboratively within a team and exceptional patient management skills will set you apart as an ideal candidate.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000, commensurate with experience.
