Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive assessments of patients' physical conditions to establish a strong foundation for their treatment plans.
• Develop and customize therapy protocols tailored to each patient's unique needs, setting clear goals for recovery.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises aimed at enhancing strength, endurance, and flexibility, monitoring their progress closely.
• Utilize manual therapy techniques, such as joint mobilization and soft tissue manipulation, to alleviate pain and facilitate healing.
• Maintain meticulous documentation of patient care, treatment plans, and progress notes through our electronic medical record (EMR) system.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary patient demographic will include adolescents, adults, and seniors recovering from orthopedic surgeries, injuries, and various musculoskeletal conditions. You will play a critical role in ensuring that these individuals receive comprehensive, evidence-based treatment that aligns with their rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from a recognized institution (Master's degree or Doctorate preferred).
• A valid, unrestricted New Jersey Physical Therapist license.
• At least 2 years of clinical experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and familiarity with evidence-based rehabilitation practices.
• Experience with EMR systems, particularly WebPT, is highly desirable.

Preferred Experience

• Previous exposure to working in a fast-paced outpatient clinic.
• Additional certifications in specialized therapy techniques (e.g., Certified Manual Therapist).
• Demonstrated ability to educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery strategies.

Compensation and Benefits
