Work Environment

Located in the tranquil community of Haworth, NJ, our outpatient office offers a welcoming and supportive atmosphere. The clinic's design is focused on facilitating effective treatments and includes various treatment areas, state-of-the-art equipment, and a collaborative space for team meetings. As a member of our team, you will enjoy a structured work schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a balanced work-life integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients to assess their physical condition and rehabilitation needs, ensuring accurate treatment planning.
• Develop individualized therapy plans that leverage evidence-based techniques to foster effective recovery and enhance mobility.
• Implement targeted interventions such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and movement strategies to promote healing.
• Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary, and documenting results in a timely and efficient manner.
• Collaborate closely with other healthcare professionals such as physicians, occupational therapists, and rehabilitation aides to ensure optimal treatment outcomes.
• Educate patients and their families on recovery strategies, including at-home exercises and lifestyle adjustments, to facilitate long-term wellness.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our primary focus is on individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, including post-operative patients, sports-related injuries, and those with chronic pain conditions. You will encounter a diverse patient demographic, enabling you to employ a wide range of therapeutic strategies tailored to various conditions. Your role will be integral in not only facilitating physical recovery but also empowering patients through education and engagement in their rehabilitation journey.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A valid Physical Therapy license in the state of New Jersey.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in an outpatient orthopedic setting.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated expertise in manual therapy techniques along with proficiency in using electronic medical record systems, with preference for WebPT.
• Experience in developing and implementing customized rehabilitation programs based on specific patient evaluations.
• Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate treatment strategies to patients and collaborate within a healthcare team.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a robust salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
