Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our outpatient clinic in Harrington Park, NJ. The clinic features a modern facility equipped with the latest rehabilitation tools and technology to enhance patient treatment. Our work schedule runs from Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, enabling a balanced work-life dynamic. With a manageable patient load of approximately two patients per hour, therapists can deliver personalized attention and care to each individual.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide hands-on therapy utilizing advanced manual techniques and therapeutic exercises tailored to each patient's needs.
• Design and implement individualized rehabilitation programs based on comprehensive patient evaluations.
• Educate patients and their families on effective post-treatment care practices and injury prevention strategies.
• Work collaboratively with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare professionals to enhance patient care and outcomes.
• Accurately document patient progress and treatment plans using electronic medical record (EMR) systems, such as WebPT.
• Stay abreast of the latest rehabilitation techniques and treatments by participating in ongoing education and training.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our clinic specializes in orthopedic rehabilitation, serving a diverse patient population that includes individuals recovering from surgery, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. You will have the opportunity to work with patients of all ages, developing effective strategies to help them regain strength, mobility, and independence.

Qualifications

• A valid New Jersey Physical Therapist license in good standing.
• A Master's or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A minimum of 2 years of applicable clinical experience in an outpatient setting.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a comprehensive understanding of rehabilitation principles.
• An understanding of EMR systems; familiarity with WebPT is a plus.
• Demonstrated commitment to patient-centered care and ongoing professional development.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in working with a diverse patient demographic, particularly in orthopedic physical therapy.
• Previous involvement in a multidisciplinary team setting, demonstrating the ability to collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals.
• Track record of successful outcomes in managing complex cases and improving patient quality of life.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
