Work Environment

The selected candidate will work in our modern outpatient clinic, designed to provide a welcoming and efficient setting for both staff and patients. Our facility features dedicated treatment rooms equipped with the latest rehabilitation tools and technologies. As part of a close-knit team, you will collaborate daily with other healthcare professionals to deliver comprehensive patient care. Our clinic operates Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a balanced work-life schedule.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive evaluations and assessments to determine patient needs and functional limitations associated with orthopedic injuries.
• Design and implement individualized physical therapy programs to promote recovery and enhance patient mobility.
• Utilize an array of evidence-based treatment techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and modalities tailored to each patient's unique situation.
• Provide patient education regarding injury prevention, exercise techniques, and home care strategies to encourage ongoing recovery.
• Maintain accurate patient documentation and progress notes using electronic medical records (EMR) systems, with WebPT being our preferred software.
• Engage in regular communication with other healthcare providers, including physicians and occupational therapists, to ensure cohesive treatment plans and optimal patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be working with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports-related injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Our clientele is diverse, ranging from athletes striving to return to peak performance to individuals seeking relief from daily functional limitations. You will have the opportunity to build strong therapeutic relationships and empower patients through education and support.

Qualifications

• Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid and active Physical Therapy license in the state of New Jersey is essential.
• Demonstrated clinical experience of at least two years in an outpatient setting, specifically focusing on orthopedic rehabilitation.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working with EMR systems, particularly WebPT, is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and a strong background in therapeutic exercise programming is preferred.
• Previous involvement in interdisciplinary collaboration within a healthcare environment can enhance your candidacy.

Compensation and Benefits
