Work Environment

The Physical Therapist position is set in a well-equipped outpatient office that fosters a supportive and collaborative work culture. Our modern facility includes advanced rehabilitation equipment and therapy modalities, allowing therapists to offer cutting-edge treatments. You will enjoy a structured schedule from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, providing you with a healthy work-life balance while making a meaningful impact on patients' lives.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough patient evaluations to establish individual treatment goals and develop tailored, evidence-based treatment plans.
• Work closely alongside a team of physicians, occupational therapists, and chiropractors to coordinate a 360-degree patient care model.
• Implement and utilize advanced rehab equipment and modalities, including therapeutic ultrasound, electrical stimulation, and manual therapy techniques within the treatment setting.
• Provide education and guidance to patients regarding injury prevention, rehabilitation exercises, and at-home strategies to facilitate recovery.
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient interactions and treatment progress via our streamlined electronic medical records (EMR) system.
• Engage in active communication during case conferences and clinical rounds to ensure integrated patient care and continuous quality improvement.
• Participate in continuing education workshops and training sessions to enhance clinical skills and stay up-to-date on industry advancements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at St. Elara Medical Center, you will work predominantly with patients experiencing orthopedic challenges, including post-surgical rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic musculosketal conditions. You will provide focused care aimed at restoring function and improving quality of life, while addressing the unique needs of each patient through personalized treatment strategies.

Qualifications

• Current license to practice as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey, or eligibility to obtain licensure.
• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution, with a strong foundation in rehabilitation principles.
• 1-2 years of experience in outpatient orthopedic settings is preferred; however, motivated new graduates with strong clinical reasoning skills are encouraged to apply.
• Exceptional manual therapy skills and the ability to execute clinical and technical procedures efficiently.
• Familiarity with electronic medical record systems for updating patient records and tracking treatment progress.
• A commitment to working collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Preferred Experience

• Certifications in specialty areas such as dry needling, vestibular rehabilitation, sports rehabilitation, or manual therapy are preferred but not mandatory.
• Interest or experience in mentorship or educational roles within the clinical setting to support the growth of colleagues and student interns.

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive annual salary ranging from $90,000 to $100,000, commensurate with experience.
