Human Touch Rehab Center is actively seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at our Orthopedic Outpatient Office located in Westwood, New Jersey. Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist in our facility, you will work closely with colleagues from various disciplines, including occupational therapists and rehabilitation specialists, to ensure comprehensive care for our patients. The office operates Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, providing a structured schedule that allows for excellent work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Human Touch Rehab Center, you will be responsible for the following:

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' physical limitations and challenges, employing evidence-based practices to identify areas of focus.
• Develop and implement customized therapy plans that address individual patient needs, utilizing a variety of treatment techniques.
• Utilize hands-on treatment methods such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, patient education, and modalities to facilitate healing and restore functional movement.
• Monitor patient progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary, documenting all aspects of treatment within electronic medical records (EMR) systems, preferably WebPT.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to discuss patient outcomes, share insights, and enhance the overall quality of care provided.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic conditions such as fractures, post-surgical rehabilitation, and chronic pain issues. Our diverse patient demographic includes adolescents, adults, and seniors who seek to regain their functional abilities. Understanding the unique needs and challenges faced by each patient, you will provide a compassionate and motivating environment to inspire their recovery journey.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates must meet the following criteria:

• A Bachelor's Degree or advanced Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• An active Physical Therapy license in New Jersey, ensuring compliance with state regulations.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience within an orthopedic outpatient setting.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques, therapeutic practices, and experience with EMR systems (familiarity with WebPT is a plus).

Preferred Experience

We highly value additional experience or certifications in specific therapeutic areas such as sports rehabilitation, pain management, or women's health. Familiarity with contemporary rehabilitation methodologies and a commitment to ongoing professional development are also advantageous.
