Position Overview

Human Touch Rehab Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team at our Orthopedic Outpatient Office located in Harrington Park, New Jersey. In this full-time role, you will collaborate with patients to evaluate their physical conditions and implement individualized therapy programs designed for optimal recovery and enhanced functional independence.

Work Environment

This position is based in a well-equipped Rehabilitation Facility that fosters a collaborative environment among healthcare professionals. Our center is designed to offer a seamless patient experience, with various spaces for individual and group therapy, as well as modern treatment modalities. You will work alongside other skilled professionals, including occupational therapists, speech therapists, and medical staff, ensuring a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate patients' physical abilities, medical history, and rehabilitation needs.
• Develop and implement customized treatment plans with clear objectives in mind, modifying them as necessary based on patient progress and feedback.
• Deliver various therapy modalities, including but not limited to manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and patient education, to ensure the best outcomes.
• Utilize clinical documentation and electronic medical records (EMR), ideally using WebPT, to maintain accurate patient records and track treatment progress.
• Educate patients and their families on recovery processes, providing strategies for at-home practice and lifestyle modifications to support ongoing health.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, attending meetings and contributing insights to enhance overall patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily serve a diverse outpatient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic injuries, surgeries, neurological disorders, and various musculoskeletal conditions. You will also engage with patients suffering from cardiovascular issues, using targeted rehabilitation techniques to promote recovery and improve mobility.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree or Doctorate in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current and active Physical Therapy license in the state of New Jersey.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience, demonstrating hands-on expertise in patient care.

Preferred Experience

• Demonstrated proficiency in manual therapy techniques and familiarity with various therapeutic modalities.
• Experience using electronic medical records systems, with WebPT familiarity being a distinct advantage.
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor, enabling effective patient interaction and education.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
