Work Environment

The position is located onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility, which is equipped with modern therapy equipment and a welcoming atmosphere designed to promote healing. Our team consists of experienced clinicians who collaborate closely to provide comprehensive care. The clinic is open Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, allowing for a structured schedule that promotes work-life balance. With an average patient flow of two patients per hour, therapists can spend quality time with each individual, ensuring thorough care and attention.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical conditions to assess mobility, strength, and functional limitations.
• Develop and implement tailored therapy plans that align with patients' specific rehabilitation goals and needs.
• Guide patients through therapeutic exercises designed to enhance their mobility, strength, and overall physical fitness.
• Employ manual therapy techniques, including soft tissue mobilization and joint mobilization, to alleviate pain and support recovery.
• Monitor and document patient progress meticulously through electronic medical record (EMR) systems, ensuring all treatment details are accurately recorded.
• Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, home exercise programs, and injury prevention strategies.
• Collaborate effectively with other healthcare professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for patients.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will primarily work with patients recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Each patient presents unique challenges, requiring you to employ a range of therapeutic interventions tailored to their specific diagnoses and rehabilitation goals. Your expertise will directly impact their recovery journey, helping them regain their independence and improve their overall quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• A valid and unrestricted New Jersey Physical Therapist license.
• A background with a minimum of two years of professional experience in a related setting.
• Strong knowledge and practical skills in various manual therapy techniques.
• Proficiency in using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT or similar platforms.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to create impactful treatment plans based on individual assessments.
• Previous experience in educating patients and families on rehabilitation processes.

Compensation and Benefits
