Work Environment

Located in Montvale, NJ, our onsite rehabilitation center is equipped with advanced therapeutic equipment and technologies. You will be working closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure each patient receives comprehensive care tailored to their unique needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform thorough assessments of patients' physical conditions, identifying limitations and functional impairments through objective measurements and patient interviews.
• Design and implement customized therapy plans that focus on the specific goals of each patient, ensuring alignment with their recovery objectives.
• Utilize a variety of treatment techniques, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and patient education, to facilitate recovery from musculoskeletal, neurological, and cardiovascular challenges.
• Regularly monitor patients' progress and adjust treatment strategies as needed, maintaining clear and accurate documentation of their responses to therapy within our EMR system, preferably WebPT.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals including physicians, occupational therapists, and nursing staff to deliver holistic patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will engage with a diverse patient population primarily recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Your expertise will be vital in guiding patients through their rehabilitation journeys, focusing on restoring functionality and enhancing their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• An active Physical Therapy license in the state of New Jersey.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in an outpatient setting, preferably focused on orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Strong proficiency in manual therapy techniques and familiarity with EMR systems, with a preference for those experienced with WebPT.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in developing and leading group therapy sessions.
• Previous involvement in interdisciplinary care environments is a plus.
• Certification in specialized techniques such as McKenzie therapy or therapeutic taping.

Compensation and Benefits
