Human Touch Rehab Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist to join our dynamic team in Westwood, New Jersey. Work Environment

As part of our outpatient office environment, you will work directly with patients one-on-one, providing hands-on care in a contemporary, well-equipped facility. Your workdays will be from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations of patients to discern physical limitations, assess functionality, and develop tailored treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
• Implement individualized therapy sessions, effectively utilizing a variety of treatment modalities, including manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and patient education.
• Regularly monitor patient progress, documenting treatment outcomes and modifying care plans as necessary.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including physicians and occupational therapists, to optimize patient care.
• Educate patients and their families about rehabilitation processes, self-management strategies, and ways to prevent re-injury.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on patients recovering from orthopedic injuries and surgeries, including conditions such as post-operative rehabilitation, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal pain. This diverse patient background ensures that you will employ a range of orthopedic assessment and therapeutic techniques to facilitate recovery and improve quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• An active Physical Therapy license in the state of New Jersey.
• Minimum of two years of clinical experience in a relevant setting, with a strong foundation in orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and familiarity with electronic medical record systems, preferably WebPT.

Preferred Experience

While two years of experience is the minimum requirement, additional experience in outpatient orthopedic settings will be highly regarded. You should be adept in both modern physical therapy methodologies and patient-focused communication skills to effectively engage with diverse populations.

Compensation and Benefits
