Park North Physical Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated and experienced Physical Therapist (PT) to join our team in Park Ridge, New Jersey. Work Environment

The Physical Therapist will work primarily in clients' homes across Park Ridge, NJ and surrounding areas. This role involves direct interaction with patients in their own environment, providing tailored therapy services that fit their unique needs. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to determine each patient's individual needs and develop tailored treatment plans that consider their specific conditions and recovery goals.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including manual therapy techniques and a variety of therapeutic exercises designed to improve mobility, strength, and functional capabilities.
• Guide patients through rehabilitation exercises while offering demonstrations and supervision to ensure correct techniques are followed.
• Provide education and resources to patients and their families about post-treatment care, injury prevention strategies, and lifestyle modifications to enhance recovery.
• Utilize Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems to maintain accurate and timely patient documentation, tracking progress and adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Participate in case conferences with the multidisciplinary team to discuss progress, modify treatments, and solve any issues affecting patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on orthopedic patients requiring recovery from surgery, injury, or chronic pain conditions. You will encounter a diverse patient demographic, including geriatric clients looking to regain mobility as well as adults undergoing rehabilitation for sports injuries. Each patient's unique living circumstances will be taken into account in order to provide the most effective and personalized therapy possible.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution. Ideally, candidates with a master's or doctorate in the field will be preferred.
• Possession of a current and valid Physical Therapist license in New Jersey, with an impeccable adherence to state regulations and standards.
• A minimum of 2 years of clinical experience working as a Physical Therapist, ideally within an outpatient or home care setting.
• Proven skills in manual therapy techniques and the ability to design personalized rehabilitation programs.
• Experience with EMR systems, particularly WebPT, to ensure accurate and efficient patient record management.
• A clean licensure history with no prior infractions or disciplinary actions.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a home care environment, adapting treatment methods to suit clients in their residence.
• Familiarity with working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
• Advanced certifications or specializations in orthopedic rehabilitation, geriatric care, or sports therapy.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
