Safety Manager

Safety Manager – Nixon Power Services Join to apply for the Safety Manager role at Nixon Power Services . What You’ll Be Doing Lead, author, and manage all EHS policies, manuals, procedures, and trainings. Ensure compliance with all Customer Safety Portals (Avetta, ISNetworld, etc.). Implement and lead safety initiatives. Accountable for all Root Cause Analyses. Ensure all documentation is complete for any Recordable Incidents, and when necessary, Near Miss Incidents. Execute NFPA 70E Training and ensure compliance. Partner with Human Resources to ensure compliance with all EHS documentation. Lead the Strategic Safety Council and ensure Safety Committees are established and lead at each service center with local leadership teams. Conduct regular Field Safety Audits with Technicians. Execute annual objectives/LPI’s and establish operating policies, as needed. Partner with Nixon’s Risk Management partners, as needed. Other duties assigned. What We’re Looking For Minimum 3-5 years of EHS related experience in a manufacturing/distribution/service environment. Strong ability to lead, persuade, motivate, and influence others. Extensive knowledge of OSHA/EPA regulations and violations. Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively with strong attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Strong organizational skills. Proficient in Microsoft Suite of programs. Excellent customer service skills. What’s in it for you?
