Minimum Requirements

• Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
• Completed Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) and current Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA.
• Active California SLP license is required to start the assignment.
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required.
• Experience working in skilled nursing facility or long-term care settings preferred.
• Experience evaluating and treating dysphagia and using standardized SLP assessment tools preferred.

Assignment Details

• Shift hours: 08:30–16:30.
• Work pattern: Five 8-hour shifts per week.

Impacting Patient Care

You will provide direct assessment and treatment for residents with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders. Your interventions will support improved quality of life and functional outcomes. You will document progress, collaborate with nursing and therapy staff, and contribute to discharge and care-transition planning.
