The Financial Analyst on the Merchandise Planning & Allocation team is responsible for supporting executional and analytical responsibilities tied to assortment architecture. Reports to a Senior Planner of Central Planning. Responsibilities include collaborating with merchant teams on assortment attribution to aggregate total shop assortment reporting, providing weekly recaps on assortment performance, presenting pre-season assortment architecture in Monthly Planning Review (MPR), fostering teamwork by being a valued teammate and building good relationships across functional and division lines, reviewing and providing assortment hindsight for each season to cross-functional teams, observing and implementing process opportunities and continuous improvements, and setting high personal performance standards, demonstrating a sense of urgency and passion for business, and overcoming obstacles to achieve goals.Qualifications include 2-4 years analytical & forecasting experience in retail industries, strong attention to detail, ability to meet due dates and balance multiple tasks/projects, highly organized and proactive about setting and solving priorities, ability to see how a task or decision relates to the total enterprise, capability to work with various levels of management throughout the organization, strong in Excel and PowerPoint with desire to learn new applications, and solid understanding of retail math, merchandising and the merchandise planning process. Education includes a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Finance, Retail, or Business-related field preferred.
