PBX Operator

This opportunity provides you the chance to develop valuable healthcare operations and communications experience in a fast-paced hospital environment while building skills in customer service, emergency response coordination, and multi-system call center operations.


*Key Responsibilities*

* Answer and route incoming internal and external calls.
* Screen callers and provide basic information or assistance.
* Respond to emergency calls and announce overhead emergency codes.
* Dispatch security and communicate with Environmental Services (EVS) and Facilities.
* Monitor work orders, radio communications, and security/door alarm systems.
* Use hospital communication systems (Maintenance Connection, Everbridge, CSoft, and Linnell).
* Look up departments and contacts using the digital directory.
* Handle high call volumes and urgent situations while remaining calm and professional.
* Provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff.
