- Conduct psychological screenings and assessments based on clinical interviews and review of available records.
- Develop, implement, and modify individual treatment plans tailored to inmate needs.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary mental health team, including psychiatrists, nurses, and social workers, to coordinate patient care.
- Make rounds in segregation and other housing areas to evaluate inmate adjustment and mental health interventions.
- Provide mental health counseling and crisis intervention as needed.
- Gather and share pertinent patient information with medical and mental health staff to ensure continuity of care.
Required:
- Active or eligible license (board eligibility required)
- Experience in mental health assessment and treatment
- Strong collaboration and communication skills
- Experience working with inmate populations or in correctional settings
