Front Office Specialist – Western Ridge Internal Medicine TriHealth Western Ridge Internal Medicine invites applications for a Front Office Specialist position. As the first point of contact, the specialist creates a welcoming, efficient, and compassionate experience for patients, supporting patient care through coordination of appointments, workflow management, and exemplary service. Job Overview This role is responsible for answering, handling and screening incoming telephone calls; greeting and registering patients; filing and preparing charts; performing check‑out functions, including review of encounter form data, collection of co‑payments, scheduling follow‑up appointments; completing daily bank deposits; and day‑end reconciliation. Some locations may also require charge/receipt entry and summaries for office‑related services. Responsibilities Answer incoming telephone lines and distribute calls. Demonstrate flexibility and take initiative in accepting additional assignments. Schedule patient appointments and inform the department of issues. Accurately input patient registration information and update insurance and demographic data. Accept payments and log them appropriately. Show courtesy and respect toward families, community professionals, and team members while following JCAHO and HIPAA protocols. Handle patient complaints and refer them to management as appropriate. Qualifications High School Diploma or GED (required). 3–4 years of experience in a related field (required). Benefits & Compensation Competitive pay based on education level and experience.
