What Youll Do

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair plant production and facility equipment.
• Perform scheduled preventative maintenance activities and emergency repairs.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required services.
• Operate a variety of hand and power tools, including welding and cutting torches.
• Test and troubleshoot malfunctioning machinery, determining necessary repairs.
• Replace faulty parts, electrical wires, motors, controls, and circuit boards.
• Dismantle equipment to gain access to and remove defective components.
• Lubricate and clean parts and equipment to ensure proper operation.

What Were Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent, or comparable training, education, or experience.
• Technical or vocational school certification or equivalent in training or experience.
• Proven mechanical aptitude and ability are essential.
• Required experience working with PremierTech and Hamar manufacturing lines.
• Skilled in the use of hand and power tools.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, mechanics, electricity, or carpentry is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret instructions and operations manuals.
• Capability to lift and/or move up to 65 lbs. from ground level.
• Ability to perform physical activities requiring considerable use of arms, legs, and whole body (bending, crouching, climbing).
