Medical Surgical Unit - Travel Registered Nurse

Shift: 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM

Experience:

• 12 months of experience with 3 months worked in the last 12 months.

• 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience worked in the last 12 months.

• Experience with MEDHOST is preferred.

• 12 months of acute care experience.

Requirements:

• Candidates must have a Utah license or compact license (required for submission).

• This role will require floating to multiple units

• Local & travel allowed. Candidates living <60 miles from facility will be processed as local.

• COVID vaccination required after submission. Religious and medical declinations accepted.

• No current placement allowed at Program: HealthTrust Program - LifePoint Health.

Additional Details:

Unit Details: - Patient population ranges from 28 days old through end of life. - Common diagnoses/treatments include COPD, heart failure, orthopedic surgeries, and general surgeries. - Equipment includes Linett beds, bladder scanner, interpreter, and Masimo.

Shift & Scheduling: - Every other weekend. - No call. - Must be willing to work 4 shifts for the first half of the assignment.

Floating Requirements: - Must be willing to float to other departments to help when staffing needs.

7 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 2 years

Driver’s license required

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)

• PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
