Job Summary and Qualifications

The Infection Control Preventionist is responsible for the prevention, detection and control of infections in the facility. Establishes, institutes and maintains an effective system for evaluation and reporting infections in patients. All of this shall be accomplished based on a systematic body of professional knowledge. Responsible for providing adequate education for hospital staff.

What qualifications you will need:

• (RN) Registered Nurse, or (CPH) Certified in Public Health, or (CIC) Certified in Infection Control
• Bachelors Degree, or Masters Degree
• 3 years experience Required Years of Experience
• Hospital experience is strongly preferred
