If you are passionate about precision, patient interaction, and contributing to accurate laboratory testing, this role is an excellent fit for your skills and experience.ResponsibilitiesDraw quality blood samples from patients, ensuring safety and comfort throughout the collection process.Prepare specimens for laboratory testing by following established procedures and protocols.Verify patient demographic information and label specimens in the presence of the patient to ensure accuracy.Maintain accurate records and documentation of collection activities.Create a professional and trusting environment by explaining procedures clearly to patients and addressing their concerns.Perform both forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties with confidence and adherence to safety standards.Assist in maintaining a safe, clean, and organized environment in accordance with policies and procedures.Adhere to company policies including dress code, safety, and confidentiality standards.Travel to multiple locations as needed and work flexible hours including weekends, holidays, and on-call shifts.Required SkillsExcellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.Ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment.Strong customer service and communication skills to interact effectively with patients, peers, and supervisors.Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.Proficiency in keyboard and data entry tasks.Additional Skills & RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalent required.Phlebotomy certification preferred; required in California, Nevada, and Washington.Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.Minimum of three years of phlebotomy experience, including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections.Two or more years of experience in a Patient Service Center environment preferred.Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and clean driving record if applicable.Flexibility to work varied hours and travel between multiple locations.Experience with customer service in a retail or service environment is a plus.Provide your exceptional phlebotomy skills and customer service commitment to make a difference in patient health outcomes.
