Responsibilities
- Deliver urgent and emergent nursing care to ED patients, including triage, assessment, and rapid interventions
- Administer medications and treatments per orders; monitor patient responses and document in the medical record
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other members of the interprofessional team to develop and implement patient care plans
- Perform ongoing patient and family education, discharge planning, and transition-of-care activities
- Ensure compliance with applicable nursing standards and ethical guidelines; uphold patient safety and quality of care
- Maintain accurate documentation and participate in continuous quality improvement activities

Requirements
- Active RN license in Georgia
- Knowledge of the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act and American Nurses Association Code of Ethics standards
- Ability to work in a fast-paced ED environment and contribute to an interdisciplinary team
- Strong communication, critical thinking, and patient advocacy skills
- Ability to fulfill a night-shift travel assignment and adapt to varying clinical situations
