Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care for critically ill patients in the ICU, including ongoing assessment, monitoring, and response to clinical changes.
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and other members of the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Administer medications, titrate vasoactive agents, and manage intravenous therapies and life-sustaining treatments as ordered.
- Monitor hemodynamics, support ventilated patients, and assist with procedures and therapies as appropriate.
- Educate patients and families, address questions, and coordinate discharge planning and post-acute needs with the care team.
- Ensure documentation in the electronic medical record and maintain patient safety, infection control, and quality standards in line with applicable laws and professional codes.

Requirements
- Active RN license in Georgia (as required for practice in the state).
- ICU/critical care nursing experience or demonstrated competency in a critical care setting.
- Ability to work night shift; 12-hour shifts, three nights per week.
- Strong collaboration skills as part of an interdisciplinary care team.
- Commitment to evidence-based practice and adherence to professional nursing standards and the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act.
