Job Description

The Nursing Assistant (NA-C) performs various patient care activities and related services necessary to care for the personal needs and comfort of patients. The NA-C utilizes resources widely while promoting physical, spiritual, and emotional wellbeing. This position is responsible for providing care to a group of patients in conjunction with and under the direction of the Registered Nurse (RN).

Responsibilities

• Assist in patient personal care and comfort needs.
• Support patients in daily activities and ensure their wellbeing.
• Follow care plans as directed by the Registered Nurse.
• Document patient care and observations accurately.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide best patient care practices.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current Washington State NA-C Certification
• One year of acute or long-term care experience preferred.
• Current BLS Certification.
• Physical capability to lift and move patients as specified.
