CNA Position

Our client, a healthcare company, is looking for a CNA for their Aberdeen, WA location.

Responsibilities:

• The Nursing Assistant performs various patient care activities and related services necessary to care for the personal needs and comfort of patients.
• The NA-C utilizes resources widely while promoting physical, spiritual, and emotional wellbeing reflective of the philosophy and standards at Client.
• This position is responsible for providing care to a group of patients in conjunction with and under the direction of the Registered Nurse (RN).

Requirements:

• Current Washington State NA-C Certification
• One year acute care of long term care experience preferred.
• Must have current BLS Certification
• Ability to lift 40 pounds from floor to waist
• Ability to lift 40 pounds from wheelchair to bed level
• Ability to lift 5 pounds overhead.
• Ability to pull 40 pounds from stretcher to bed
• Ability to push a 150 pound loaded stretcher 300 feet.
• Flexibility: kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, squatting, climb onto stretcher or bed
• Auditory ability to effectively perform procedures and take adequate blood pressures.
• Vision adequate to observe patients and to perform minimal charting activities.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Minimum Years Of Experience: 1
• Certifications/Requirements: BLS/BCLS
