Requirements:

• Current Washington State NA-C Certification
• One year of acute care or long-term care experience preferred
• Current BLS Certification
• Ability to lift 40 pounds from floor to waist
• Ability to lift 40 pounds from wheelchair to bed level
• Ability to lift 5 pounds overhead
• Ability to pull 40 pounds from stretcher to bed
• Ability to push a 150-pound loaded stretcher 300 feet
• Flexibility: kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, squatting, climbing onto stretcher or bed
• Auditory ability to effectively perform procedures and take adequate blood pressures
• Vision adequate to observe patients and perform minimal charting activities
• Ability to work as part of a team

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, and feeding.
• Monitor and record patient vital signs and report changes to the supervising nurse.
• Provide support to the nursing staff in the delivery of patient care.
• Ensure patient safety and comfort at all times.
• Assist with mobility and transportation of patients within the facility.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
