SC & BP1 , a medical staffing agency located in Buffalo, New York, is looking to hire experienced CNA’s. We will pay $22.00 per hour .

Job Summary:  The CNA works under the direction of a registered nurse and must be ready to handle a diverse range of tasks and responsibilities, including administering treatment or medications, performing clinical procedures, and documenting clinical data of patients.

Job Responsibilities / Duties:

• Promotes resident hygiene and comfort.
• Distributes food/water and feeds residents.
• Assists with repositioning and transferring residents.
• Ambulates and transports residents.
• Records and totals fluid intake and output.
• Weighs residents.
• Documents on flow sheets.
• Assists with admission, discharge and postmortem care.
• Responds to call lights in a timely manner.
• Performs perineal care and uncomplicated colostomy care.
• Reports all observations & assessments to the Team Leader/Nurse Manager/Charge Nurse.
• Takes and records vital signs.
• Makes beds and keeps resident’s units clean and in order.
• Prepares room for housekeeping after resident discharge.

Skill / Experience Requirements .

Current  NYS CNA Certification Required.

Previous Long Term Care experience a plus.
