Senior Manager, Social Media and Digital Content

Senior Manager, Social Media and Digital Content Rubrik is seeking a creative and strategic Senior Manager, Social Media and Digital Content to lead our social media presence and support our rapid growth. This role is built for a social-first storyteller who turns complex enterprise and security topics into content and conversations that engage technical and business audiences. You will own social strategy end to end, setting the vision and roadmap, leading a conversational, community-first approach across channels, and integrating AI to scale creative production, understand audiences, and grow engagement quality and share of voice. The ideal candidate brings a proven track record in social media growth, creative direction, and team leadership, with the judgment to know how and when to put AI to work in ways that strengthen both speed and quality. WHAT YOU’LL DO:

Own and drive social media strategy end-to-end, setting vision, priorities, and roadmap to move the team and brand forward, with a focus on creative social-first content that increases followers, reach, and engagement across core channels Drive innovation across all social channels, remaining up to date on new technology, platforms, macro trends, and competitor activities to apply to strategic plans Expand the fan base across the brand’s owned social channels by attracting new followers and redefining current followers into brand advocates. Boost fan engagement across all channels Build influencer programs and identify influencer opportunities in an effort to engage new and existing audiences Standardize tracking, tools, and measurement methodologies in partnership with the analytics team, helping translate listening and performance data into KPIs that speak to brand health, share of voice, and business impact Set the strategy and prioritization for video and YouTube content, from concept through distribution; partner with creative and production teams on execution, and bring that same strategic, conversational approach to community-first platforms like Reddit Build out Rubrik's thought-leadership presence on social, amplify senior voices, and connect social strategy to the broader narrative led by Corporate Comms and Product Marketing Mentor, encourage and guide the team to build new concepts that elevate the brand, are culturally relevant and deliver results Drive marketing initiatives through content storytelling to ensure a consistent brand message that is channel relevant across multiple touch points Maintain cross-functional alignment, clear communication, flawless integration and timely execution of programs with internal leadership Partner with cross-functional teams to bring company-wide marketing campaigns to life Continually explore new channels for Rubrik to use to grow our social media reach

WHO YOU ARE

8+ years experience leading social media and brand awareness strategies, ideally within B2B, enterprise AI, cyber, or technology sectors. In-house experience preferred Experience marketing to technical, CISO, or security-focused buyers, with the ability to translate complex enterprise products into accessible, engaging content 5+ years of experience leading, building and managing social media teams You have a clear vision for social that identifies new trends and turns them into creative ideas Proven track record of growing a large social media presence (1m+ followers), with success measured not just by follower growth but cultivating engagement quality and share of voice among relevant technical/business audiences Strong digital /social agency acumen with background leading and partnering with agency teams, motivating and enabling them to extend in-house campaigns and key initiatives You know how and when to strategically integrate AI tools to scale creative content, understand audiences, and maximize campaign performance across social media channels Conversant in social listening and analytics to monitor sentiment, competitors, and industry conversations, turning what surfaces into content and engagement decisions You're a strategic problem solver with a track record of influencing players across large organizations, with a bias for action and a results-oriented mindset Broad experience including brand identity, content strategy and development, video, and paid social media, with experience setting strategy and prioritization for video/YouTube content and cultivating community-first platforms like Reddit

Strong organizational, planning, and project/campaign management skills Must have the ability to work in a deadline driven, fast-paced environment and must be highly organized and detail-oriented Excellent communication and presentation skills Confident at leading a dynamic team and comfortable managing interdepartmental communications Must have a deep understanding of digital data and analytics tools, partnering closely with analytics/insights functions to translate social performance into broader KPIs (brand health, share of voice, executive influence) that inform GTM and business strategy Experience working directly with C-Suite on driving growth and thought leadership on executive-owned channels, including ghostwriting and platform strategy for senior leaders Experience navigating social and digital response during sensitive or high-visibility moments, security incidents, industry news cycles, competitor events, with close coordination with Legal and Comms teams Partner with cross-functional teams to bring company-wide marketing campaigns to life Continually explore new channels for Rubrik to use to grow our social media reach

The minimum and maximum base salaries for this role are posted below; additionally, the role is eligible for bonus potential, equity and benefits. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the role based on U.S. location. Within the range, the salary offered will be determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. US Pay Range
