Operations Intern

Responsible for working on special projects for the Engineering department. To include but not limited to: Process time studies to identify areas of improvement in the assembly process and installation. Assist the production department with special requests. Assist the Plant Manager with projects as they arise. Perform other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills, Abilities And Qualifications For This Position Education: High school diploma or GED. Experience: No experience necessary; however, looking for someone currently enrolled in college to pursue their bachelor's degree in engineering or operations management. Skills: Ability to represent the Company and interact with others in an ethical and appropriate manner; Ability to meet deadlines and communicate proactively, comfortable working in a dynamic environment; Willingness and ability to function as an effective team member through good communication and cooperation to meet departmental goals; Excellent verbal and written communication skills; professionalism, and diplomacy; Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail; Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software; Touch-it-once, do-it-right approach to work responsibilities; Intellectually curious, commitment to excellence, and interest in learning new responsibilities once existing responsibilities are mastered.
