Human Resources Assistant

A busy entertainment and hospitality venue is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Human Resources Coordinator to support daily HR operations and employee services. This role plays an important part in ensuring a positive experience for both team members and job applicants by assisting with administrative processes, onboarding, scheduling support, and employee communications.

Working closely with the HR team, the successful candidate will help maintain organized records, provide operational support across multiple HR functions, and contribute to a professional and welcoming workplace environment.

Main Responsibilities

Recruitment & Employee Support

• Assist with onboarding activities, including preparing hiring documents and helping new employees complete orientation requirements.
• Support recruitment efforts by reviewing applications, coordinating candidate communications, and assisting with hiring processes.
• Maintain accurate employee records and personnel files.
• Respond to employee and applicant inquiries through phone, email, and face-to-face interactions in a professional and courteous manner.
• Provide support with employee communications and general HR-related matters.
• Assist various departments with administrative and human resources needs as required.

Operations & Administrative Coordination

• Support scheduling updates, attendance tracking, and general office administration.
• Maintain HR databases, systems, and inventory records for employee-related materials and supplies.
• Distribute employee items such as uniforms, ID badges, name tags, and other workplace materials.
• Coordinate distribution of employee benefits, perks, and payroll-related items.
• Help ensure smooth day-to-day operations within both the HR office and wider site operations.
• Deliver excellent customer service by assisting guests, answering questions, and providing directions when needed.

Candidate Requirements

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
• Comfortable using Microsoft Office and other standard office software.
• High attention to detail and accuracy when handling records and documentation.
• Ability to manage confidential information with professionalism and discretion.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holiday periods when required.
