Forgeline Automotive is looking for an experienced Automotive Technician / Mechanic to join our team. We are a busy independent repair shop with a steady workload and are looking for someone who can come in and be productive with minimal supervision.

Pay: $23–$30 per hour , based on experience and ability.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair domestic and import vehicles
• Perform brakes, suspension, steering, and general mechanical repairs
• Engine and transmission repair/replacement
• Cooling system and A/C repairs
• Electrical and drivability diagnostics
• Perform maintenance and preventative services
• Accurately identify needed repairs and communicate findings
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

Requirements

• Previous professional automotive repair experience is required
• Must be able to work independently and complete jobs efficiently
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic abilities
• Must have your own basic hand tools
• Valid driver's license
• Reliable transportation and dependable attendance
• Ability to properly use service information and follow repair procedures
• Must take pride in producing quality work

This is NOT an entry-level or apprentice position. We are specifically looking for an experienced technician who is comfortable handling repairs without constant supervision.
