Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair medium and heavy-duty commercial trucks (Class 6–8).

• Perform engine, transmission, brake, electrical, and hydraulic diagnostics using modern software.

• Complete preventative maintenance inspections and safety checks.

• Work collaboratively with service advisors and team members to ensure efficient turn times.

• Keep skills updated through ongoing employer-paid OEM manufacturer training.

Qualifications

• Experience: 2+ years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic / Heavy-Duty Technician (any make/model).

• Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.

• Skills: Strong mechanical aptitude, diagnostic proficiency, and wiring/electrical troubleshooting skills.

• Tools: Must possess own standard set of hand tools (Tool allowance provided).

• Certifications (Preferred, not required): CDL Class A or B, PA State Inspection license, or OEM certifications (Mack, Volvo, Cummins).
