About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief Strategy Officer to be a pivotal strategic partner during a critical period. The successful candidate will lead and support strategic initiatives related to transaction preparation, corporate positioning, M&A activities, and external relations. This role demands a combination of strategic thinking, financial understanding, operational credibility, and hands-on execution capability. The CSO will be responsible for representing the company and its owners in engagements with various stakeholders, shaping the company's story and value proposition, and developing high-quality executive presentations and strategic materials. Additionally, the role involves extensive travel to global sites to gain a deep understanding of the company's operations and to support management in strategic discussions. Applicants for the Chief Strategy Officer position at the company should have a minimum of 10 years' experience in corporate strategy, corporate development, investment banking, private equity, consulting, or related leadership roles. Experience in complex global organizations, particularly within the medical device or manufacturing sectors, is preferred. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in supporting strategic transactions, ownership transitions, and M&A processes, with a focus on sizeable exit experiences. Strong financial and business acumen, the ability to work closely with finance leadership, and a talent for developing compelling strategic narratives are essential. The role requires a high level of executive presence, credibility, and a strong commitment to hands-on execution across both strategic and operational topics. International travel, including extended time in Asia, is a necessary aspect of the role.
