Operations ManagerManagement level position, responsible for leading the operations side of our Contractor and Construction business. Looking for a forward thinking, problem solver, interested in helping manage our team and grow our business. Reports to: Construction Sales Manager and Profit Center ManagerMinimum Qualifications:College Degree or 5 years of relevant work experienceProven work experience in a management rolePreferred Qualifications:Two or more years of Operations Management ExperienceTwo or more years experience leading a team of 15 or largerElectrical Distribution or similar Distribution experienceAdditional Competencies:Hard working and eager to learnEffective communicatorAbility to motivate and lead othersProficient with Windows Office programsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsMotivated and driven to be the bestStrong analytical skillsAbility to evaluate tough situations and determine a course of actionFamiliar with business operating systemsUnderstanding of accounting paperwork flowAbility to develop workflow chartsExperience developing new processes and implementationWorking Conditions:Standard office environment and distribution warehouse environment. Most days will be spent in the office but there will be time spent working with our warehouse and logistics team in the warehouse.Supervisory Responsibilities:YesEssential Job Functions:Ensure all operations are carried out in an appropriate and cost-effective way.People management skills.
