Oversee all monthly financial reporting and analysis, including revenue recognition and billing operations. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, including GAAP and Uniform Guidance (2 CFR 200). Support strategic planning efforts within finance and across the organization. Partner with internal leaders to strengthen financial acumen and support data‑driven decision‑making. Maintain and strengthen relationships with banks, vendors, insurance brokers, and key external partners. Serve as the primary liaison for insurance renewals, providing required financial documentation and insights. Oversee banking activities and monitor organizational cash flow. Interpret complex contract requirements and ensure financial compliance across applicable programs. Identify, recommend, and lead process automation and AI‑driven improvements within financial operations. Safeguard organizational assets through strong internal controls and oversight. Provide proactive guidance on financial risks, liabilities, and emerging issues. Manage and develop a high‑performing team through coaching, mentorship, and workload management. Lead coordination with external auditors and tax professionals, ensuring timely and accurate completion of all audits, filings, and reporting. Required Qualifications Minimum eight (8) years of progressive accounting or finance experience. Minimum three (3) years of leadership experience managing teams or operations in an organization of 50+ staff. Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field. Strong working knowledge of GAAP, federal regulations, compliance requirements, and relevant CFR sections. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Proven experience implementing, managing, or optimizing ERP systems. Strong technical aptitude with software, systems, and daily technology tools. Preferred Qualifications Certified Public Accountant (CPA). Experience in nonprofit organizations. Public accounting experience. Experience with NetSuite ERP.
