Associate Project ManagerMust have one of the following Degree in Engineering, Business, Finance, Technology, or Construction Management Construction Management with 1-2 years of experience with a commercial and/or Industrial general contractor; Completed OSHA ET&D TrainingNice to Have Skills & Experience:Ability to multitask and maintain effectiveness with multiple prioritiesProfessional demeanor; remain calm and emotionally controlled under pressureAbility to follow directions and take initiative when requiredExcellent communication, accounting and organizational skillsFamiliar with Microsoft Office and TimberlineA basic to good understanding of construction means and methodsBasic understanding/proficiency with spreadsheets, Email and other software used in the construction industry.Job Description:Associate Project Manager will help build out a newly developed Mission Critical construction team. The APM will assist in the management of multiple projects while providing support to the Project Managers and other key members in the preconstruction phases as well as during the projects. Help coordinate projects and plans, schedules, and track the progress of projects and report their results.Responsibilities:Help oversee a construction project from start to finishManage preconstruction paperwork and engage with all internal and external partiesManage day-to-day project activities including the POD and time sheetsAssist in project planning, budgeting, and identification of resources neededWork with project manager to ensure understanding of all project activities, schedules and deliverablesHelp to manage client responsibilities and expectationsWork with management to develop the objectives/goals of each member and assign individual responsibilitiesEnsure that construction activities move according to pre-determined scheduleMonitor the progress of the construction activities on a regular basisEffective time management and logical decision-making ability
