JOB TITLE: Senior Data Analyst, CRMDEPARTMENT: Data Science & Customer InsightsLOCATION: 100- Store Support Center Atlanta, GA FLSA STATUS: Exempt FTE STATUS: Full-TimePurpose:This position is responsible for analyzing and reporting on customer behavior and the results of strategic marketing efforts. This position plays a key role in defining the direction of the Customer Insights research/analysis and strategic marketing.Minimum Eligibility Requirements:Bachelor's degree in data science, marketing, business, or a related quantitative field. 3-5 years of experience in marketing or customer analytics or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the companyDemonstrated expertise in SQLProficiency with at least 1 statistical analysis language (e.g., R, Python), and data visualization software (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)Experience with AI-assisted analysis tools (e.g., Claude, Codex) to accelerate data exploration, modeling, and reportingExcellent communication skills: able to convey complex data insights to non-technical stakeholdersExpertise in A/B testing methodology & designFamiliarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and automation tools (e.g., CDPs) is a plusUnderstanding of lifecycle marketing channels & tactics (e.g., acquisition, retention/churn, lifetime value optimization, personalization)Must be highly analytical and able to provide a data-driven rationale for new projectsDemonstrated ability to work independently as well as cross functionally with a team to execute tasks, drive projects, and achieve desired resultsMust be organized, detail-oriented, and possess strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilityExperience in the retail or home improvement industry preferredAbility to manage multiple concurrent projects and work in a fast-paced environmentEssential Job Functions:Develop and execute A/B testing strategies to optimize customers’ shopping journeys and drive incremental revenue for the businessSegment the customer base and support targeted marketing strategies based on behavioral, preferential, and demographic data. Tailor segmentation analysis to support marketing team’s personalization and performance goalsDesign & create visually compelling reports and dashboards to communicate data insights effectively to stakeholdersDefine, track, and report on key performance metrics to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives, providing regular reports and clear, actionable recommendations to the marketing teamSupport development of customer-level predictive models that drive meaningful business outcomesSupport develop forecasting models to predict marketing outcomes and assist in long-term planning & budgetingConduct self-directed exploratory analysis of customer & marketing data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvementCross-functional collaboration with the Marketing, Pro, Ecommerce, Operations, Merchandising, and IT teams to align marketing strategies with business objectivesDrive improvement & enhancement of existing customer analytics, with a focus on empirical and incremental resultsBe compliant with all appropriate Privacy Preferences and Security protocols.Working Conditions (travel & environment)· Travel may be required including air and car travel· The noise level in the work environment is typically quiet to moderate.PHYSICAL/SENSORY REQUIREMENTSSedentary Work – Ability to exert 10 - 20 pounds of force occasionally, and/or negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
