Litigation Associate

A law firm seeks a Patent Litigation Associate to join its expanding Intellectual Property Litigation team in Washington, DC. This role offers the opportunity to work on sophisticated matters with a collaborative team, take on increasing responsibility, and build strong client relationships across industries including software, telecommunications, life sciences, and aerospace. Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents while conducting thorough legal research. Participate in hearings, trial preparation, and oral advocacy in federal district courts, the Federal Circuit, the ITC, and the PTAB. 4-6 years of experience in commercial or intellectual property litigation. ~ Experience in patent litigation is preferred. ~ Strong writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills. Law degree from an accredited institution. A bachelor's degree in engineering or a scientific field is a plus. Patent and Trademark Office is preferred but not required. Ability to develop or deepen a patent litigation practice. Experience managing cases and working collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.
