Cardiovascular Ultrasound Technician
Performs ultrasound examinations of the heart and vessels to assist the physician in the diagnosis and treatment of disorders affecting the cardiovascular system.
Minimum Knowledge, Skills, Experience Required Education/Licensure: Completion of ultrasound program; RVS or RVT eligible preferred. Experience: No previous experience required, but preferred. Additional Skills/Abilities: BLS required before the conclusion of the orientation period. Must have excellent communication skills with the ability to work in a fast paced environment, requiring prioritizing and changing tasks frequently and quickly.
