Full Time | Choose a 4-day, 10-hour schedule OR a regular Monday-Friday, 8-hour schedule

What You'll Do

As a Child Care Teacher, you'll work alongside supervisory staff to plan and implement engaging classroom experiences while providing guidance and support to your classroom team. You'll:

• Plan, develop, and implement age-appropriate classroom activities and curriculum that support children's social, spiritual, physical, and intellectual growth.
• Provide warm, compassionate care that supports each child's individual needs and development.
• Oversee and provide guidance to Teaching Assistants and Daycare Assistants .
• Provide for children's daily needs, including care, hygiene, meals, learning, and developmental activities.
• Promote positive behavior through appropriate guidance, discipline, and classroom management techniques.
• Model positive behaviors and effective communication for children and fellow caregivers.
• Maintain a safe, clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment .
• Complete classroom records, observations, assessments, and other required documentation.
• Communicate professionally and respectfully with parents and families.
• Help new children and families transition comfortably into the classroom and Center.
• Assist with specialized programs, family events, and Center-wide activities.
• Prepare meals provided by parents and supplement with Center food as needed to meet children's nutritional needs.
• Support staff development and maintain a collaborative classroom environment.
• Stay current with applicable childcare regulations and professional development requirements.
• Follow all applicable policies, regulations, and safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

What We're Looking For

Candidates must meet one of the following minimum education requirements:

• Regional accredited ECE-focused ASB or AST
• AA/AS in Early Childhood Education (ECE)
• AA/AS/BA/BS in a related field + 18 ECE credits
• AA/AS/BA/BS in an unrelated field + 30 ECE credits
• Elementary Education degree + 12 ECE credits

• Warm, compassionate, and enthusiastic about working with children.
• Creative, energetic, and adaptable.
• Organized and able to prioritize multiple classroom responsibilities.
• Comfortable providing leadership and guidance to classroom staff.
• A strong communicator who works well with children, families, coworkers, and management.
• Dependable and committed to providing high-quality care and education.
• Most importantly, someone who knows how to have FUN at work!
