Henry Ford Eastside Cardiovascular - Roseville offers a wide range of diagnostic cardiac imaging and tests close to home. Our care team works with you to help prevent heart attack or stroke, and manage high blood pressure, high cholesterol and irregular heartbeats. We specialize in caring for many heart conditions, including AFib, congestive heart failure, structural heart and valve care, peripheral artery disease, and coronary artery blockages.

Role Overview

As a Medical Support Assistant, you play a vital role in ensuring the delivery of quality and compassionate patient care. You will work under the direct supervision of providers and nursing leadership, performing a variety of administrative and clinical tasks. Your efforts directly support the healthcare team in providing exceptional patient experiences.

What You Will Do

• Greet and escort patients to the exam room, ensuring a welcoming environment.
• Obtain and document accurate medical histories from patients.
• Measure and record vital signs, contributing to patient assessments.
• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, ensuring their comfort and readiness.
• Assist providers during examinations and procedures, facilitating efficient and effective care.

Qualifications

 EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: • High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent. • At least one (1) year of related experience preferred. • Basic computer knowledge and keyboarding skills preferred. • Ability to perform a wide variety of clinical skills as related to ambulatory patient care preferred. • Ability to problem-solve preferred. • Possess effective interpersonal and communication skills preferred.
