Adjuster Trainee

Position is based out of office in Birmingham. We have an outstanding opportunity in the Automobile Claims Department to contribute in a fast paced growing environment. We are seeking friendly, responsible and hard working individuals. We are a looking for talented and self-motivated individuals to begin their careers with us as a claims adjuster trainee. You will learn to deliver great customer service, build strong negotiation skills, and learn more about insurance laws and processes. This role has strong career development and advancement opportunities. The ideal candidate will have: • 4 year Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university • Proficiency with technology • Self-motivated team player • Excellent communication skills • A responsible and conscientious nature • Good problem solving aptitude and ability to make independent decisions • Ability and willingness to learn quickly • Attention to detail and facts Key responsibilities include: • Quickly learn the fundamentals of claims processing including investigation, correspondence, negotiation and settlement through mentoring, self-study, and standardized classes • Answer and respond to consumer, producer, regulatory, and attorney inquiries • Handle a gradually building case load in both number and complexity • Other duties as assigned
