Overview
MRI Technologist - Radiology in Berlin, Vermont, United States. This travel assignment is in a hospital-based radiology department for 5 weeks starting 10/15/2026, with a 4x10-hour day shift schedule. Weekly pay ranges from $2,973 to $3,128. There are on-call requirements and weekend rotations. This position requires ARRT MRI certification, a minimum of 2 years MRI experience, teaching facility experience, and Epic EMR proficiency within the past 2 years.

Responsibilities
- Perform MRI examinations per protocol, ensuring correct patient identification, positioning, and safety; optimize image quality
- Verify orders and review patient history; explain procedures and obtain consent when needed
- Administer IV contrast as required and monitor for adverse reactions; respond per protocol
- Operate MRI equipment, adjust sequences, coils, and parameters to meet diagnostic requirements
- Document procedures and patient data in the Epic EMR; communicate findings and any concerns to the radiologist and referring clinicians
- Collaborate with radiology team; provide support across units as needed, including fluoroscopy or OR as required
- Adhere to MRI safety protocols, infection control standards, and patient privacy guidelines
- Participate in on-call rotations and weekend coverage as assigned

Requirements
- ARRT MRI certification (or equivalency) with current eligibility as applicable
- Minimum 2 years of MRI experience; teaching facility experience required
- Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years
- CT/X-ray trained or comfortable working across radiology modalities as needed
- Ability to work in a hospital radiology setting and participate in on-call and weekend rotations
- Strong patient communication and safety-focused approach
